Deck Mounted Soap Dispenser FAQ
What is a deck mounted soap dispenser?
A deck mounted soap dispenser installs directly through a hole in the countertop or sink deck, keeping the counter organized and eliminating clutter from countertop units.
How do touchless soap dispensers work?
Active infrared sensors detect hand presence and trigger the solenoid valve to dispense a precise amount of soap. The sensor range and dispense duration are adjustable.
What is the difference between liquid and foam soap?
Liquid soap dispensers use standard commercial liquid soap. Foam soap dispensers aerate the soap, creating a rich foam that reduces soap consumption by up to 50%.
What hole size is needed for deck mounted installation?
Standard deck mounted soap dispensers require a 1-1.5 inch diameter hole in the countertop or sink deck. Check specifications before installation.
What power options are available?
Choose between hardwired AC (continuous power) or battery-powered (6x AA batteries, 2-3 year life) depending on installation requirements.
Are these dispensers ADA compliant?
Yes, all Fontana commercial soap dispensers meet ADA requirements for accessible design, including proper reach ranges and sensor activation.
